In the know, the first cookie flavor was designed and baked in 1988 for "Wendy." Named: "Wendy's Addictions," this amazing cookie flavor (Top Secret dough recipe) has Milk Chocolate, Caramel, and Nuts. It quickly became the "World's Most Addictive Cookie." Named after the person for whom the cookie was designed - Wendy. Later a survey finished the name with "Addictions." Approximately 70 people wrote the word "Addicitve" in their survey response. The Flagship cookie - "Wendy's Addictions."

Later the addition of several cookie flavors were created for friends who asked for a specific flavor. Each cookie flavor is named for the individual who originally requested their flavor.
